On behalf of the HL7 Taiwan and the Organizing Committee of Asia-Pacific HL7 Conference of Healthcare Information Standards, we cordially invite you to the "Asia-Pacific HL7 Conference of Healthcare Information Standards" to be held from March 14th to 16th 2002 in Taipei, Taiwan.

As we are entering the new millennium of knowledge-based era, healthcare information management will be the main topic of the medical industry in the 21st century where standardization is a determing factor. For this conference, we have invited some scholars and specialists all over Asia, America, Korea, Japan and Australia to be presence at the Conference and share their experience with the main theme of applications of Healthcare Information Systems.

The program of the Conference consists of two simultaneous sessions: HL7 tutorial as well as keynote speech and paper presentation focusing on eight areas of Medical standards, Electronic Patient Records, IHE (Integrated Hospital Enterprise): HIS and PACS, Digital signature, Applications of Medical Information Systems, Clinical Decision Management, Medical data mining and Knowledge Systems.
