¡@I am pleased to invite you to participate
the 3rd Asia-Pacific and Cross-Strait Conference on Healthcare
Information Standards to be held in Taipei, Taiwan from July
9 11, 2004.
¡@The medical industry and healthcare service systems are increasingly
having to rely on Health Information Standards to achieve the
aims of providing efficient, high quality, evidence-based care.
Standards are necessary to link regional healthcare core knowledge
and for creating Electronic Health Records to enable healthcare
professionals to easily and readily access patient information.
¡@The 3rd Asia-Pacific and Cross-Strait HL7 Conference will focus
on the role of Embracing Health Information
Standards in the Commitment to Creating Electronic Health Records.
The Conference will promote the development of the medical and
healthcare industry of the Asia-Pacific Region through the participation
of physicians, scientists and experts from government and industry.
The unique Conference atmosphere will facilitate multi-disciplinary
exchange of ideas, discussion and the creation of effective
strategies to meet the demands and needs of future healthcare.
