The course not only guides participants in using FHIR Shorthand (FSH) to design the FHIR Implementation Guide (IG) and provides practical hands-on training for using the IG Publisher in IG publication but also emphasizes essential design thinking for IG creation, important considerations in IG management, and the acquisition of necessary tools.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1.Understand the significance of FHIR Implementation Guides (IGs) for a project and how FHIR IGs are composed.
2.Validate instances of profiles to ensure compliance with the data fields and code requirements of the profiles.
3.Master the process of testing systems that claim conformance to a specific FHIR IG, ensuring alignment with the functional design requirements of the IG.
4.Set up the environment and utilize FSH to design FHIR IGs.
5.Publish and maintaining the developed FHIR IG.
